Granblue Fantasy Launches in the West: Release Trailer
Cygames' JRPG arrives on Steam, 12 years after its Japanese release

On March 10, 2014, Japanese studio Cygames released Granblue Fantasy, a JRPG for mobile devices. For all this time, the title remained exclusively for Japanese users, but today, exactly 12 years later, Cygames' work finally crosses the borders of its homeland: Granblue Fantasy is launched on PC, via Steam. The main novelty compared to the original version lies in the different screen proportions: it has gone from a vertical orientation (to adapt to smartphones) to 16:9.
Granblue Fantasy is set in a vast world of flying islands to explore, alone or in cooperative multiplayer. The game features deep turn-based combat and over 70 character classes to choose from. Two major figures linked to the Final Fantasy universe collaborated on its development: art director Hideo Minaba and composer Nobuo Uematsu.
