Spanish studio Alkemia Interactive is developing the remake of the iconic Gothic, and publisher THQ Nordic has shared a lengthy trailer, taking us behind the scenes of the project. The developers tell us how they reimagined the original, focusing on various aspects such as art direction, character creation, equipment customization, and cinematic cutscenes.

The trailer was preceded by a brief teaser, at which point we couldn't help but wonder why there was still no release date, despite being close to the launch window.
