GOG Considers Entering Physical Market: "We Are Actively Working On It"
Marcin Paczyński, Senior Business Development Manager at GOG, confirmed that the Polish platform is concretely exploring the possibility of distributing physical copies of games, even if logistical and legal obstacles remain enormous.

During our interview with Marcin Paczyński, the concrete possibility emerged that GOG might also enter the physical market. According to the Senior Business Development Manager of the Polish platform, GOG has always looked towards the "physical" market, and the time may be starting to ripen for their entry into the field.
GOG and the dream of physical: what Marcin Paczyński said
According to Paczyński, GOG is building an ecosystem capable of allowing players to build their own game collections:
“We have always done it digitally, but we are always considering doing it physically as well”
A kind of addition, from what emerges from his words, that would allow the player not only to purchase the digital copy, but also the possibility of having a physical copy containing the game shipped to them.
A very ambitious project that, however, might never see the light of day since there would be so many obstacles to overcome, including logistical and legal ones.
“It is an extremely complex issue, but we are currently actively working on this project”
Paczyński nevertheless reiterated that, however ambitious, it is a project that might never see the light of day, but the GOG audience is already independently producing covers, boxes, and manuals.
