GIGABYTE leverages the stage of COMPUTEX 2026 to present the new AORUS GeForce RTX 50 AI BOX series, a family of external GPUs designed especially for those who want to game with desktop-level performance without sacrificing the portability of an ultrabook. Thanks to the Thunderbolt 5 connection, just one cable is enough to transform a thin notebook into a machine capable of tackling the most demanding titles.
The flagship offering is the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 AI BOX, equipped with 32 GB of video memory and designed to offer maximum performance not only in video games, but also in creative applications and artificial intelligence. Alongside it debuts the AORUS GeForce RTX 5060 Ti AI BOX (image below), equipped with 16 GB of VRAM and aimed at those who want to game in 1080p or 1440p while maintaining smaller dimensions and lower costs.
Desktop Performance Also Comes to Notebooks
The two eGPUs are not limited to increasing graphics power: they include USB ports, Ethernet connectivity, and the ability to manage up to 4x monitors, transforming the laptop into a true gaming station.
To optimize resource utilization, GIGABYTE also introduces the GPU Selector software, which automatically distributes workloads between the notebook's integrated graphics card and the external one. Finally, dedicated cooling systems ensure constant performance: WATERFORCE liquid cooling on the RTX 5090 AI BOX and WINDFORCE on the RTX 5060 Ti AI BOX.
