Indie studio Lyra Studio is thrilled to announce that FrostBound, the tower defense deckbuilder and roguelike, set in an unforgiving glacial world, will launch on PC via Steam on November 27, 2025. Players can already add FrostBound to their Steam Wishlist.

FrostBound draws inspiration from Game of Thrones, echoing its brutal battles, human conflicts, and the desperate struggle against an endless winter. Recalling the burning torches beyond the Wall, the game transforms these themes into a strategic challenge of survival, where fragile alliances, unexpected heroes, and unity are the only way to resist the frost.

FrostBound combines a deep deck-building system with tactical defense and roguelike replayability. With nine progressive difficulty levels, each match tests your adaptability, featuring stronger enemies, limited resources, and new events like Fortifications and Signals that reshape the battlefield and adopted strategy.

You can expand and customize your deck with over 500 cards belonging to four factions across five categories (Attack, Defense, Ability, Structure, and Elite), each offering new tactical options. Develop powerful Elite heroes, leverage risky Curse cards, and experiment with endless combinations to forge your personal path to survival.

Built on three pillars—adaptive difficulty, replayable challenges, and objective-driven progression—FrostBound ensures that no battle is ever the same. Whether you're optimizing complex synergies, testing new deck archetypes, or struggling to survive the highest difficulty, every victory feels earned in this glacial world, as captivating as it is ruthless.
