Forza Horizon 6 Launches Today, But Some Have Been Banned for 7973 Years
Playground Games wasn't kidding when it threatened severe penalties for pirates
The official launch of Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, so there are still four days to go, but not for everyone: buyers of the Premium edition are entitled to early access, so for them, the competition started today. The new racing title from Playground Games is available on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Xbox PC, Steam) and from day one on Game Pass.
A Ban That Expires in 9999
Forza Horizon 6 was unfortunately pirated before launch, and Playground Games, understandably, did not take it well at all, threatening heavy retaliation for anyone caught playing a pirated version. The British software house did not mince words: as reported by Windows Central, a user caught pirating Horizon 6 received a ban expiring on December 31, 9999, meaning their account will not be able to access the racing game for another 7973 years…
