Fortnite Increases V-buck Price (But Not Everywhere)
In-game currency becomes more expensive and can no longer be farmed

Not even a global phenomenon like Fortnite is immune to the crisis: Epic Games has announced a price increase for V-bucks, the in-game currency used in the game. The various bundles will cost the same as before, but users will receive fewer V-bucks from them, and these are significant reductions: the €8.99 pack will provide 20% less currency. Let's look at all the changes, as reported on Epic's website.
V-Buck Pack Changes
- The €8.99 pack goes from 1,000 V-bucks to 800 V-bucks
- The €22.99 pack goes from 2,800 V-bucks to 2,400 V-bucks
- The €36.99 pack goes from 5,000 V-bucks to 4,500 V-bucks
- The €89.99 pack goes from 13,500 V-bucks to 12,500 V-bucks
- The exact amount pack goes from €0.50 for 50 V-bucks to €0.99 for 50 V-bucks
However, if you still want to find V-Bucks at the old price, our advice is to go to Instant Gaming, where the price has remained unchanged.
Fortnite V-Bucks
20% Refund with Epic Rewards
Purchases on Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League, if made through the Epic Games Store or Epic's payment system on PC, iOS, Android, and web, receive a 20% refund in the form of Epic Rewards. This is a credit that can be spent on Fortnite, other Epic Games titles, or the Epic Games Store.
The Battle Pass is Less Generous
Before this update, the Battle Pass cost 1,000 V-bucks, but offered the possibility to obtain 1,000 V-bucks plus an additional 500 in rewards. In other words, with each Pass, users could farm 500 extra V-bucks, to spend on Premium content. Now, however, things have changed: the price of the Pass drops to 800 V-bucks, but completing it only grants 800 V-bucks, just enough to purchase the next one, with no profit margin for the user.
