Starting today, the game can be pre-ordered in physical and digital formats for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), and in physical format for Nintendo Switch 2. Digital pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 will also be available soon.
To prepare for the adventure, starting today, those who pre-order a physical and/or digital edition of the game will receive Elliot's Travel Provisions Set, which includes various items that give Elliot an advantage, including the Departure Medal accessory, which increases the amount of currency and magilite fragments dropped by enemies, and the Greater Attack sword magilite. A physical Collector's Edition can also be pre-ordered exclusively on the Square Enix Store. This edition includes the base game plus an original soundtrack and a Faie figurine with a clock.
In The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, Elliot and Faie traverse a vast world across four eras teeming with hordes of enemies, hidden caves, and ancient ruins. Elliot can use seven different weapon types, from swords with short-range attacks to chain scythes that can pull enemies towards him. Each weapon is customizable with magilite, allowing players to adapt battles to their playstyle. Faie's magic is incredible both in and out of battles, for striking enemies, retrieving hard-to-reach items, or assisting with exploration.
The game also features various new and improved functionalities based on feedback received from the debut demo (available for download on Nintendo Switch 2), including increased movement speed for Elliot, improvements to the weapon shortcut menu, and additional difficulty options.
