Final Fantasy VII, New Version of PS1 Classic Available on Steam
Triple speed, auto-save, and a couple of cheats

Following the announcement last month, Square Enix has released a new version of the classic Final Fantasy VII on Steam (and GOG), removing the 2013 Edition from the store. Those who already owned it will receive this updated edition for free (but will not be able to import saves), while others can purchase it for 12.99 euros.
This is essentially the variant that has been available on the Microsoft Store for some time, and includes, in addition to the original experience, the ability to triple game speed, disable random battles, and constantly recover HP and MP during encounters, plus auto-save. The title does not support mods from the 2013 Edition and the launch has been a bit problematic, but the first fixes are already being released. What do you think? Fancy another run?
