Famitsu has published sales data in Japan for the period from September 1st to 7th. Both the Switch and PS5 versions of Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots debuted on the podium, but they couldn't unseat Mario Kart World's return to the top. Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion was weaker, only ninth in its PS5 incarnation. The Switch 2 version was not reported (probably because it's a game-key card in Japan). On the hardware front, PS5 celebrates 7 million units sold in the Land of the Rising Sun, while Switch 2 is expected to break the 2 million mark next week. We report the complete list, with the number of copies sold followed by the total.
