Publisher New Tals has shared a trailer introducing us to the story of Fading Echo. This action/adventure is set in Corel, a world of floating islands that is dissolving and which only the heroine One can save. The protagonist possesses the power of water: she can transform into a liquid form to pass through any opening, or use water to attack her enemies, or even trigger elemental reactions to interact with the surrounding environment.
The Fading Echo Demo
The author of Fading Echo is Emeteria, a French studio making its debut, which is using Unreal Engine 5 for development. If this title piques your interest, you can find a demo on Steam, set in a volcanic location with a forgotten civilization. Fading Echo will be released in 2026; you will find this title on PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox PC.
