Edge of Memories Rides the Nekaroo in New Trailer

Publisher Nacon and developer Midgar Studio have shared a new trailer for Edge of Memories, showing us how the game's mount, a gigantic feline called Nekaroo, functions. Riding this animal companion, protagonist Eline will be able to explore the vast lands of Avaris much more quickly and can also reach otherwise inaccessible places, thanks to Nekaroo's ability to climb and make long leaps.

Exploration via the Nekaroo will not be freely accessible from the start: to unlock it in a given area, you will first need to activate a specific pillar (in other words, areas will first need to be traversed on foot and only later with the mount). Edge of Memories will be released in the last quarter of 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. If you want to delve deeper, check out this gameplay overview.
