Crimson Desert Announces Charting the Unknown DLC

Crimson Desert was introduced last March, offering players a vast and ambitious fantasy experience. It's a title that, in terms of complexity, harks back to the MMORPGs its developer knows well, but at launch, it still had a long list of rough edges to smooth out. This is perhaps why it's a bit surprising that Pearl Abyss, in addition to refining its work, has also found time to craft an expansion that promises to be massive.

When Charting the Unknown Releases

Crimson Desert's first major DLC is called Charting the Unknown and will be released next month, on October 16, 2026. This additional content will continue Kliff's story, but Pearl Abyss has not yet shared much information about it. The presentation trailer reveals some substantial new features, such as the ability to build your own home and to explore underwater; we await further details.
