Creative Launches Sound Blaster Audigy FX Pro for Desktop PCs

Creative expands its historic Sound Blaster line with Audigy FX Pro, an internal sound card designed for desktop PC users who want to significantly improve sound quality compared to integrated motherboard audio.

The new model installs via a PCIe interface and aims to offer a compact yet complete solution for gaming, music, and multimedia entertainment. Key features include support for playback up to 32-bit / 384 kHz, a 120 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and discrete 7.1 surround sound management, designed to make the experience with movies and video games more immersive.

One of the most useful elements of the Audigy FX Pro is the integrated headphone amplifier, designed to drive even more demanding models than those generally handled by onboard audio. The goal is to offer greater detail, dynamics, and precision in playback.

This card also debuts Creative Nexus, a new audio management application developed by the company. The interface allows for quick control of playback settings, applying functions like Auto EQ, adjusting Sound Blaster Acoustic Engine technologies, and managing all main options from a centralized dashboard.
