Control Resonant: Story Trailer, with Release Date

During the State of Play, Finnish software house Remedy Entertainment shared a new trailer that tells us the story of Control Resonant. The events revolve around the protagonist Dylan Faden and his sister Jesse: their paths are closely intertwined, and the game will explore the past of both characters to shed light on some of the mysteries surrounding them.

Control Resonant will plunge players into a Manhattan ravaged by a paranormal crisis that has distorted gravity; Dylan will have to face monstrous adversaries to resolve this crisis. Compared to the first installment of the series, Remedy has significantly enriched the gameplay, giving it the depth of an RPG and expanding the combat system: we explain it in this article.

When Control Resonant Comes Out

The release date for Control Resonant has been set for September 24, 2026. You will find Remedy's new work on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Curiously, Control Resonant will be released on the same day as another title shown during the State of Play, Silent Hill: Townfall.
