Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Shines in Gameplay Trailer
The series wants to celebrate its 40th anniversary in a special way
Publisher Konami and developer Evil Empire are back to show us Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, with a commented gameplay trailer. Once again, we receive confirmation that the title will not have a roguelike structure, but should instead be considered a 2D action/adventure. Judging by the trailer, the premises seem very positive: a graphic style with personality and well-crafted animations is noticeable, serving gameplay with intriguing platforming and combat.
The trailer also shows a particular boss: a corrupted version of Joan of Arc. Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is set in Paris in 1499, a city besieged by Dracula's dark forces, which only a descendant of the Belmont clan can free. The game's release is set for 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, and Xbox PC platforms.
