Card-en-Ciel, Switch 2 Version and New Expansion Pass Announced
Arriving January 29 with an upgrade from the Switch edition
Inti Creates has announced the Switch 2 version of its Card-en-Ciel. The roguelike deckbuilder will arrive on Kyoto's new platform on January 29, 2026, priced at $34.99 (and the equivalent in euros), while those who already own it on Switch will be able to purchase the Upgrade Pack for $10. A physical edition will also be available in Japan. Improvements include 4K resolution at 120fps and mouse control support via Joy-Con 2.
In addition, a new Expansion Pass is in development, whose contents will be released gradually and include a Purchase Bonus with an exclusive Wild Card, Content Pack 1, with dungeons and cards inspired by the Gal Guardians Servants of the Dark series, and Content Pack 2, which is still unknown. Card-en-Ciel is available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S. Here's the announcement trailer.
