Card-en-Ciel, Expansion Pass and New Free Update Details
Coming in February to all platforms, including Switch 2

Inti Creates has unveiled details for the upcoming Expansion Pass for its game, Card-en-Ciel. The content will introduce two waves of narrative elements, dungeons, and cards inspired by the universes of Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark and Blaster Master Zero, both IPs from the Japanese developer, into the roguelike deckbuilder. The two DLCs can be purchased as a single bundle for $9.99 (and the equivalent in euros) or individually for $4.99, and are scheduled to debut on all platforms on February 19 and March 12, respectively.
Additionally, a free update is available for download today, featuring "Real Challenge Battles"—combat scenarios with a limited set of resources to unlock exclusive cards—along with improvements to online matches and a new Extra Dungeon. As if that weren't enough, the Switch 2 version of the game was also released today, boasting improved graphics and mouse-style controls, available as a standalone purchase or as an upgrade for owners of the original on Switch.
Card-en-Ciel is available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S. Here's the announcement trailer (in Japanese with English subtitles).
