Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters - The Best Take the Field

The 2026 World Cup has finally begun, and unfortunately, Italy will have to watch from the sidelines. But at least in the video game world, victory is within reach with Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters. Tsubasa and Genzo's Japan (or Holly and Benji, as we've come to know them) will face off against the best national teams in the world to win the World Youth Championship.

The game's new trailer showcases some of the main footballers from their respective teams, captured as they unleash their exaggerated super moves. We remind you that Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters will be available from August 28, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
