Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Shows Its PC Prowess

Activision and Infinity Ward have shared a new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, to illustrate the technical prerogatives of the PC version. The developers have worked hard to ensure the game runs well on a wide range of computer configurations: from the most powerful systems, where MW4 will obviously perform at its best, to less powerful ones (a venerable GXT 970 graphics card is enough to meet the minimum requirements).

Modern Warfare 4 PC Features

On PC, the game supports various monitor formats, from standard to ultrawide, and resolutions, from 1080p to 4K. All of this does not come at the expense of performance, because the recommended hardware requirements are sufficient to run MW4 at 90 FPS. Infinity Ward's work can leverage major upscaling technologies: AMD FSR Redstone, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, Intel XeSS 3. In addition, thanks to sub-frame mouse polling, aiming will be even more precise.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be available from October 23, 2026; in addition to PC, you will also find it on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Those who pre-order the game will be able to start pre-loading data as early as October 15, while early access to the campaign will begin on October 16.
