Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 - A First Look at DMZ

Activision and Infinity Ward participated in the Xbox Games Showcase to premiere DMZ, the evolution of the extraction mode that will be featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Extraction made its debut in the CoD franchise back in 2022 with DMZ Beta, but the new version will be very different, because it has been refined taking into account both player feedback and the evolution of the genre in recent years.

DMZ: A Dynamic Extraction Shooter

In DMZ, you play as an unofficial agent tasked with recovering advanced military technology after a war. You can act alone or in a squad, and to obtain resources, anything goes: loot, fight, negotiate, betray. DMZ battles will be dynamic, taking place on maps with changing weather conditions, objectives that vary during gameplay, and hostile forces in constant motion. We remind you that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be released on October 23, 2026.
