Bethesda Announces Fallout 5, and More

At a very delicate historical moment for Microsoft's gaming ecosystem, Bethesda Game Studios has decided to share its future plans with players, announcing an exclusive preview of the projects it is currently working on. As you know, the American software house is currently developing the highly anticipated The Elder Scrolls VI, but this is only a part of everything currently in the works.

The Starfield Expansion

With a message on its official website, Bethesda has confirmed that it will continue to support Starfield. The space epic, which boasts over 17 million users, is about to enter Year 3 and will be further expanded with new stories, gameplay improvements, and additional updates. The real news, however, is the arrival of a new expansion, Starborn, which will be launched in 2027. Furthermore, the customization tool Creations will be enhanced. 

The Future of Fallout

In its message, Bethesda officially spoke about Fallout 5: for now, it is confirmed to be in the pre-production phase (so we will see it in many years) and that it is being developed with the Creation Engine 3, the same engine as The Elder Scrolls VI. But there is also news for other chapters of the franchise, starting with Fallout 76, which will obviously receive new updates and in 2027 a major expansion called Raven Rock, which serves as a prequel to Fallout 3.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas Remasters

Speaking of Fallout 3: the game will return to our screens in a remastered version. The same treatment will be reserved for Fallout: New Vegas. No further information is shared about this, but we know that Obsidian Entertainment is also working on the franchise and is the studio behind New Vegas, so its involvement can be hypothesized.
