ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X – Pre-orders for New Consoles

ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced the opening of pre-orders for the new handheld consoles ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, developed in collaboration with Xbox. The devices will be available starting October 16, 2025 in numerous global markets, with prices starting from €599 for ROG Xbox Ally and €899 for ROG Xbox Ally X.

Both handheld consoles offer an ergonomic design, full-screen experience, and access to game libraries installed from major PC stores, all running Windows 11. The models represent a significant evolution compared to the previous ROG Ally.

Power, Versatility, and Artificial Intelligence

• ROG Xbox Ally is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, which ensures energy efficiency and improved performance by up to 20% in titles like Forza Horizon 5 and Gears of War: Reloaded.

• ROG Xbox Ally X introduces the new AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, with performance increases of up to 30% in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Doom: The Dark Ages, as well as double the battery life in games like Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Thanks to support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, Radeon Super Resolution, and AMD Fluid Motion Frames, both versions are presented with "smooth graphics and frame rates up to 60% higher". The presence of an integrated NPU on Ally X paves the way for the use of artificial intelligence in future productions.

Pre-orders are already available through Microsoft Store, ASUS eShop, and local retailers in numerous countries including Italy, the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
