ASRock has announced the arrival of the new Radeon RX 9050 Challenger, available in variants with 8 GB and 4 GB of GDDR6 memory. Based on the AMD RDNA 4 architecture, the new GPUs target the mainstream segment, bringing the latest technologies from the Radeon RX 9000 family.

The cards integrate up to 16 RDNA 4 Compute Units with third-generation ray tracing acceleration and support features such as AMD HYPR-RX and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR). Connectivity includes DisplayPort 2.1a and PCI Express 5.0.

The ASRock Radeon RX 9050 Challenger 8 GB model reaches a Boost frequency of up to 2,600 MHz and is equipped with a dual-fan cooling system that combines proprietary Striped Axial Fans with Ultra-fit Heatpipes to improve heat dissipation. The features are completed by a metal backplate, Super Alloy components, and an integrated LED indicator. ASRock has also confirmed a 4 GB version, designed for even more accessible configurations.

The new ASRock Radeon RX 9050 Challenger will initially be distributed in the Latin American and Asia-Pacific markets, both through retail channels and for system integrators. No prices or availability for the European market have been announced.
