Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown doesn't stop, reaches 7 million
Another million since the last report in January 2025
This year will see the release of the highly anticipated Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, but that doesn't mean its predecessor has been resting on its laurels. Bandai Namco has announced that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has surpassed 7 million copies sold, another million since the report in January 2025. Solid and consistent, the seventh installment of the popular arcade flight simulator has never stopped racking up numbers since its debut in 2019. This brings the series' total sales to over 21 million.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve will be released on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
