Curry Barker Doesn't Stop: New Deal After Obsession
According to rumors, a very high budget has already been allocated for the rights

While the horror film Obsession is raking in box office success and critical acclaim worldwide, its creator Curry Barker has already secured a new deal with Universal and Blumhouse Atomic Monster for another project still shrouded in mystery.
The director's rise has been incredibly rapid. Starting from the web and content created for YouTube, Barker has managed to establish himself as one of the most interesting names in the new generation of horror, attracting the attention of some of the industry's leading producers.
Even before the release of Obsession, the filmmaker had completed shooting a second film, titled Anything But Ghosts. The movie follows two self-proclaimed paranormal experts who exploit their clients' gullibility until they discover that ghosts actually exist. The cast includes Aaron Paul, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Violet McGraw.
A Talent Hollywood Holds Tight

The new project will be Barker's third feature film. At the moment, no plot details have been released, but according to rumors, producers have invested a particularly high sum to secure the rights to the idea.
The confidence in the director is also evident from the words of James Wan and Jason Blum, who have identified Barker as one of the most promising voices to emerge in horror cinema in recent years. More than the result of a single film, the new agreement confirms that Universal and Blumhouse see Curry Barker as one of the directors on whom to build the future of horror cinema.
