Accused – On Trial – The legal thriller arrives on Sky and NOW
Tense thriller atmospheres, where every story opens in a courtroom

From November 11, 2026, Accused – On Trial, a new legal drama created by Howard Gordon, co-creator of Homeland – Spy Hunt and executive producer of 24 – Redemption, debuts on Sky and NOW. Inspired by the eponymous British series winner of the International Emmy Award, the production by Fox Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television offers fifteen anthology episodes.
Every story opens in a courtroom: an accused person, whose crime we don't know, sits before the judge. Through their point of view, the viewer reconstructs step by step the choices, often wrong or ambiguous, that led to that moment of truth. The result is a tense and unpredictable psychological thriller, where the line between guilt and innocence becomes increasingly thin.
Amidst fears and contradictions of modern society

The ensemble cast, which changes with each episode, includes Michael Chiklis, Abigail Breslin, Margo Martindale, Whitney Cummings, Molly Parker, Wendell Pierce, Rachel Bilson, and many others. Among the directors are also Marlee Matlin, Billy Porter, and Chiklis himself.
With a clear and unsettling look at today's America, Accused – On Trial explores how ordinary people can find themselves overwhelmed by extreme decisions and their consequences. A series that, episode after episode, poses an uncomfortable and universal question: what would you have done in their place?
