The hunt for the Originals begins this month
Panache Digital Games has released a new gameplay trailer for 1666: Amsterdam, the dark fantasy action/adventure by Canadian game designer Patrice Désilets. Two main phases are distinguished: by day, the protagonist Noa Brooklyn's task is to identify the Originals, malevolent beings who have acquired immense power. These beings are disguised as humans, and it will be up to Noa to unmask them.
To succeed, Noa can resort to magic, but doing so in broad daylight, among people, will come at a price. Valuable help in the investigation will also be provided by Aaron the cat. During the second phase, at night, Noa can fight against the Originals, who will abandon their human guise to assume their true form. During conflicts, the protagonist must use spells, potions, and every other useful tool from her magical arsenal.
