12 classic Psikyo shmups to be removed from Steam on October 31st

City Connection has announced that it will remove 12 shoot 'em ups by Psikyo from the Steam store on October 31st. The reason appears to be related to the expiration of the license. The titles in question are:
- Gunbird
- Gunbird 2
- Gunbarich
- Dragon Blaze
- Samurai Aces
- Samurai Aces Episode II: Tengai
- Samurai Aces Episode III: Sengoku Cannon
- Sol Divide
- Strikers 1945
- Strikers 1945 II
- Strikers 1945 III
- Zero Gunner 2
Those who have already purchased them will still be able to play and download them regularly. You still have two weeks to grab them, keep an eye out for any last-minute discounts. It does not appear that their counterparts on Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox will undergo any changes; they will remain regularly on sale. A shame, but perhaps new bundles are on the way?
