Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, the Wind Waker Sequel is Now on Nintendo Music
Celebrations begin for the saga's 40th anniversary
The The Legend of Zelda saga turns 40 in 2026, and Nintendo is starting to warm up with a themed update for the Nintendo Music app. This week's candidate is indeed The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, the sequel to Wind Waker for GameCube, and the first installment in the series to grace the shores of the DS. Its style and formula closely resemble its predecessor, but everything is optimized for quick play sessions and intensive use of the handheld console's features.
Composed by Kenta Nagata and Toru Minegishi, the soundtrack includes 80 tracks for approximately 1 hour and 31 minutes of listening.
