Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition Releases on Switch 2
The improved version of the improved version of the JRPG
Xenoblade Chronicles X was released in 2015 on the Wii U console. After 10 years of absolute exclusivity, this mech-focused chapter of the popular JRPG saga by Monolith has arrived on a second platform, Switch, with a Definitive Edition that offered technical improvements and new content. We discussed it in depth in our review.
Xenoblade Chronicles X on Switch 2
Nintendo announces the release of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, in digital format (the physical edition will be available from April 16). Monolith's work thus also reaches the company's most recent hardware. Compared to the Switch 1 edition, the frame rate has now been improved up to 60 fps and the resolution reaches 4K on TV. If you don't own this game yet, this might be the right opportunity to get it; however, if you already own the Definitive Edition on Switch 1, to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition you unfortunately have to pay €4.99 for the Upgrade.
