Xbox Game Pass: The First Wave of April, Featuring Hades II

The Xbox blog has shared the list of titles that will be offered on Game Pass between now and April 23, and it's a rather long list, highlighted by Hades II, which will be released on the service on the same day as its Xbox launch. Today sees the arrival of Final Fantasy IV, which was pre-announced by the previous wave, but much more awaits us starting tomorrow: let's take a look.

• DayZ - Born as a simple mod, it has become an absolute benchmark for survival FPS games. From tomorrow, April 8, on PC. Already available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans, it also arrives on Game Pass Premium.
• Endless Legend 2 - The sequel to one of the most acclaimed 4X turn-based strategy games. From April 8, on PC, in Game Preview version. Already available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans, it also arrives on Game Pass Premium.
• FBC: Firebreak - A cooperative shooter from Remedy, set in the Control universe, which didn't have much luck. From April 8, on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Already available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans, it also arrives on Game Pass Premium.
• Planet Coaster 2 - A management game where you have to build magnificent roller coasters. From April 9, on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Available with Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Premium plans.
• Tiny Bookshop - Another management game, where you run a small bookstore by the sea. From April 10, on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Available with Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Premium plans.
• Football Manager 26 - The latest installment in the leading series of football management games. From April 13, on PC. Already available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans, it also arrives on Game Pass Premium.
• Football Manager 26 console - As above, but it's the console version. From April 13, on cloud, console and PC. Already available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans, it also arrives on Game Pass Premium.
• Hades II - The sequel to the game that redefined the roguelike concept. From April 14, on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Available with Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Premium plans.
• Replaced - A side-scrolling action game set in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world. From day one, April 14, on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Available with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans.
• The Thaumaturge - An RPG that takes us to a fantasy version of early 20th century Poland. From April 14, on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Available with Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Premium plans.
• The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered - The modernized version of Bethesda's 2006 classic. From April 16, on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Already available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans, it also arrives on Game Pass Premium.
• EA Sports NHL 26 - Electronic Arts' take on the sport of hockey. From April 16, on cloud and Xbox Series X|S. Available with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans.
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - The 2019 installment of Activision's historic shooter saga. From April 17, on cloud, console and PC. Available with Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Premium plans.
• Little Rocket Lab - The young protagonist of this game builds a spaceship at home. From April 21, on cloud, console and PC. Already available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans, it also arrives on Game Pass Premium.

New Game Pass Essential Games

For those unfamiliar, Game Pass Essential is the basic plan of the subscription service, previously called Game Pass Core. This plan provides access to a library of over 50 games, which expands with a few new titles each year. Starting tomorrow, two new games will be available on Essential: Warhammer Vermintide 2 and DayZ.
