World of Warcraft: Forever Introduces New Skyborne Race

World of Warcraft: Forever represents Blizzard Entertainment's new approach to offering the original experience of its popular MMORPG, updated to modern standards. This is the Classic Plus version of the game, joining the Classic and Modern versions; 22 years later, the journey to Azeroth has been expanded with new zones to explore, over 1,000 new quests, new dungeons and raids, and more.

First Contact with the Skyborne

One of the most significant new features of WoW: Forever is the introduction of a new race of High Elves, the Skyborne. These elves are descendants of the Highborne and exiles from the city of Eldre'thalas. The ancestors of the Skyborne made a pact with the Skywall wind spirits, who for millennia granted them protection on the island of Zephras. Now, however, this protection has waned, and the island is contested by various factions.

Blizzard has shared a trailer dedicated to the Skyborne, to delve deeper into their lore and abilities. You can find more information on the official website. To access the new race, you will need to purchase the Heroic Skyborne Pack, or a higher edition. For all the main information on World of Warcraft: Forever, simply read our special feature. The release date for WoW: Forever is set for November 5, 2026, on PC.
