Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, three physical editions coming to Switch
From Limited Run Games, three box sets of MachineGames' shooter for Nintendo's hybrid console
The Switch version of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is probably the least appealing on the market, due to the technical concessions made by the developers to allow the MachineGames and Bethesda title to run on Nintendo's modest hardware (even at the time of its release in 2017). If for any reason you haven't purchased it until now and are interested, know that distributor Limited Run Games plans to release three physical editions for the violent first-person shooter, all dedicated to Switch.
From Friday, October 17 until November 16, with delivery expected around the end of March 2026, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus can be pre-ordered in Standard editions, with only the game for $49.99 (on a 32GB cartridge, so no download), Steelbook, which includes, precisely, the steelbook and an additional cardboard sleeve for $69.99, and Collector's. The latter, priced at $134.99, includes the game and steelbook, action figures of BJ Blaskovic and a Supersoldat, a deck of cards and replicas of themed music album covers, a floppy-shaped USB stick, and the soundtrack on CD.
What would make this announcement even more appealing? A patch for Switch 2 would do wonders for owners of the new Nintendo console. Perhaps in the coming months?
