Will the Teen Titans come to the cinema? James Gunn intervenes
Too many rumors, numerous online speculations would not correspond to the facts
The Teen Titans continue to be one of the most talked-about projects in the new DC Universe, but in recent hours, James Gunn has brought the discussion back to reality.
The co-president of DC Studios intervened on social media to deny rumors that indicated Sam Levinson, creator of the series Euphoria, as a possible director for the film dedicated to DC's young heroes. The response was clear: currently, no negotiations are underway with a director, and several online speculations do not correspond to the facts.
The project exists, but is still in its early stages
The screenplay is entrusted to Ana Nogueira, who is also working on the new Wonder Woman film. This detail suggests that the Teen Titans are not yet an immediate priority for DC Studios, despite the project officially being in development.
The composition of the team remains a mystery. Some rumors speak of a return to the classic lineup led by Dick Grayson, while others hypothesize a group closer to modern incarnations, with Damian Wayne at the center of the story.
Gunn's denial confirms that the film is still in its early stages of development. Before knowing the director, cast, and team lineup, it will be necessary to await further updates from DC Studios.
