Wild Blue Skies Has Taken Off: The Launch Trailer
A tribute to Star Fox arrives from Japan
Publisher Balor Games (an imprint that has inherited the legacy of Humble Games) announces the release of Wild Blue Skies, now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Xbox PC) platforms. Developed by Japanese studio Chuhai Games, this title is an immediate and replayable on-rails arcade shooter. Wild Blue Skies draws inspiration from genre classics from the 90s, most notably the Star Fox series.
The affinities with Nintendo's franchise are clear, starting with the cartoon style featuring anthropomorphic animals: in Wild Blue Skies, we find Bowie, Thorne, Chuck, and Roe, four pilots who form the Blue Bombers team. Their objective is, of course, to save the world, and while flying during missions, they frequently exchange banter, in perfect Star Fox style.
