Threads of Time: New Gameplay Trailer from TGS

On the occasion of the Tokyo Game Show, publisher Humble Games and developer Riyo Games are once again showing us Threads of Time, a turn-based RPG inspired by the great Japanese classics of the 90s, especially Chrono Trigger. It's no coincidence that the trailer shows characters moving between different eras, from prehistory to the future, passing through the Middle Ages: it's impossible not to notice the affinity with Squaresoft's masterpiece.

Even the turn-based combat system clearly harks back to Japanese productions of that era. Unfortunately, this promising tribute to Chrono Trigger does not yet have a release window: Threads of Time will be released at a later date, on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) platforms.
