The Peerless Assassin 120H-A Dark brings the fans of the renowned Thermalright cooler to 2,400 RPM, a significant increase over the previous version. The new variant maintains the dual-tower architecture and adopts an all-black finish.

The real novelty is in the fans

The system retains the 2x towers traversed by 6x 6mm copper heatpipes in direct contact with the CPU. What changes are the two TL-N12-R9 V2 fans, capable of reaching 2,400 RPM compared to the 1,550 RPM of the previous units.

At full speed, each fan achieves 85.35 CFM of airflow and 2.95 mmH₂O of static pressure, with a declared noise level of up to 33.3 dBA. Thermalright also indicates a 29% increase in airflow compared to the previous fans. The cooler measures 125 × 135 × 159 mm with fans installed and supports Intel LGA115X, 1200, 1700, and 1851, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5.

Thermalright has not yet announced pricing and availability. Furthermore, the concrete advantages in temperatures compared to the previous model remain to be verified in the field.
