Thermalright Renews Royal Pretor with Integrated Display

Thermalright expands the Royal Pretor family with new variants designed for those who want an air cooler that can also provide system information directly on the PC. Royal Pretor 130 Vision and Royal Pretor 130 Digital share the same technical base, differing exclusively in the type of integrated display.

The Vision model is the richest in the range and integrates a 3.95" LCD screen with 480 x 480 resolution, connected via an internal USB 2.0 header. Through the proprietary software, it's possible to display real-time hardware data, but also custom images, animated backgrounds, and GIFs, a solution that recalls the functionalities offered by high-end AIO cooling systems.

Two Interpretations of the Same Cooler

The Digital version (above), on the other hand, foregoes graphic customization in favor of a display dedicated exclusively to system monitoring. The panel shows CPU temperature, processor consumption, operating frequency, and memory usage.

Both coolers adopt a 165 mm dual-tower finned body with 6x 6 mm nickel-plated copper heatpipes, a nickel-plated C1100 copper base, and a pair of 120 and 130 mm PWM fans with S-FDB V2 bearings. Compatibility covers the latest Intel platforms, including LGA 1700 and 1851 sockets, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 systems.

Thermalright has not yet announced pricing and availability, but has confirmed the arrival of both versions in black and white colorways.
