The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure Also Coming to PS5 and Switch 2
Nihon Falcom's JRPG will arrive on the two consoles with some technical improvements
The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure is a chapter in the Trails franchise that was originally released in 2011 on PSP. A sequel to Trails From Zero, it forms the Crossbell story arc, named after the city where the two games take place. In 2023, Trails to Azure finally crossed Japanese borders with its Western release on PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC. Now the title is preparing to reach two more platforms.
When Trails to Azure Releases on PS5 and Switch 2
Publisher NIS America announces that The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure will be released on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles. The JRPG developed by Japanese studio Nihon Falcom will reach these platforms in fall 2026. The new edition will feature a revamped technical sector, with improved performance, higher resolution, and texture upscaling, to update the visual experience.
