The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon has a Double Demo
The new chapter in the saga arrives mid-January
Publisher NIS America has announced a double demo for The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon, the new installment in the Japanese RPG franchise developed by Nihon Falcom. A sequel to Trails Through Daybreak II, this title will be released on January 15, 2026 on PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. In its home country, the game was released in September 2024.
The Trails beyond the Horizon Demo
If you want to try it out early, a double demo version awaits you. The Story demo allows you to experience the beginning of the game, the prologue of Trails beyond the Horizon; if purchased, your save data can be transferred to the full version. The Battle demo, on the other hand, showcases a more advanced section of the game, allowing you to see how the combat system evolves. Unfortunately, the Battle demo is only available on PlayStation platforms.
