On the British set of The Batman – Part II, something seems to have changed for Bruce Wayne. New images show Robert Pattinson as the billionaire leaving a courthouse, surrounded by a crowd of protestors who are anything but friendly. The signs openly accuse the rich of the city's crisis and, above all, call out the Court of Owls.

Sebastian Stan Thinks of The Godfather

This is a detail that could have a significant impact on the story. After the events of the first film, the Wayne name seems to have become one of the targets of Gotham's discontent, opening a possible connection between social tensions and the mysterious group operating behind the scenes.

Providing another clue about the sequel's tone is Sebastian Stan, who joins the cast. Visiting the set, the actor said he had the feeling that Reeves was creating something close to the spirit of The Godfather Part II. Stan also described the project as very realistic and built to surprise the audience.

His character, however, remains uncertain: rumors have linked him first to Harvey Dent and then to Victor Zsasz. The role of Scarlett Johansson is also still shrouded in mystery. Returning to the cast are Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, and Jayme Lawson. The Batman – Part II is expected in theaters by mid-February 2028.
