The Batman 2 - Teaser Arrives with Bad News
Another delay prolongs the wait that began after the success of the 2022 film
Matt Reeves has shared the first official footage of The Batman 2, bringing Robert Pattinson back as the Dark Knight. It's a brief test, a few seconds showing the costume and the film's new logo without offering any indications about the plot or the characters set to join Bruce Wayne.
The anticipation arrived alongside less welcome news. Warner Bros. has once again postponed the film's debut: initially scheduled for October 1, 2027, the release is now set for February 18, 2028. Another delay prolongs the wait that began after the success of the first chapter in 2022.

Alongside Pattinson, returning cast members include Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Jayme Lawson, and Gil Perez-Abraham. Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance, Sebastian Koch, and Brian Tyree Henry are also part of the project, but their respective roles have not been announced.
Hypotheses continue to circulate precisely about these characters. Some link Stan to Harvey Dent, while others imagine him as Victor Zsasz, and Johansson is associated with a reinterpretation of Pamela Isley, inspired by Poison Ivy. At the moment, none of this information has received official confirmation from the studio or the director.
