Skyrim Finally Runs at 60fps on Switch 2
Better late than never

In early December, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition was released on Switch 2, and not exactly in its best incarnation. Bethesda's immortal action-RPG did boast a higher resolution than its Switch counterpart, but it was still locked at 30fps and introduced a fair bit of input lag for the occasion. The latter was resolved shortly after release, and now it's the frame rate's turn.
With the update to version 1.2, Skyrim can finally reach 60fps even on the new Nintendo hybrid console thanks to the new Performance mode. Additionally, it's possible to maintain the 30fps limit for a more stable experience and a small boost to presentation. Some crashes have also been resolved, performance improved in certain locations, and control and interface behaviors optimized.
What do you think, is it finally time for an upgrade? You can also find The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S.
