The Event

On March 26, 2026, the day of Screamer's global launch, the GAMM Museum in Rome will host a special event to celebrate the return of one of the most iconic intellectual properties in Italian video game history. Thirty years after the debut of the legendary racing game that made Italian gaming history in 1995, Milestone will bring Screamer back to the track, in a completely revamped form: cel-shaded anime aesthetics, cyberpunk setting, combat mechanics, and a deep narrative inspired by 80s and 90s manga. The evening, scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM, will celebrate the title's past and future.

30 Works on Display, Between Art and Video Games

The heart of the evening will be an unprecedented exhibition, comprising 30 original works: preparatory sketches, concept art, and artwork that accompanied the creation of Screamer, from the development phase to the final realization. An unmissable artistic journey that will reveal the game's creative process, showing how a video game universe is born and visually evolves.
The exhibition, open until the end of April and curated by Massimo Triulzi, Director of the GAMM Museum, with the contribution of Milestone, fully represents the museum's commitment to being a reference point for national video game culture, with the aim of valuing video games as an art form.

The Panel: Developers Talk About Screamer

The event includes an open conversation with the Milestone team, composed of several key figures behind the game's development, who will recount the genesis of Screamer, from the creative challenges faced in reinventing a cult title after thirty years, to the philosophy behind a production that chose to look to Japanese anime to redefine contemporary arcade racing.
The panel will be moderated by Eva Carducci, film critic and influencer, one of the most authoritative voices in Italian pop culture.

The Comic: 'Loss, a Screamer Story'

On the occasion of Screamer's launch, Milestone commissioned the creation of "LOSS, A SCREAMER STORY", an original comic signed by artist Matteo De Longis. A work that expands the game's narrative universe through the language of comics, a choice consistent with the manga and anime inspiration that permeates the entire production.
De Longis will be present at the event to talk about his work and for a signing session of an original print dedicated to the game, offering participants an exclusive fragment of Screamer's mythology.
