Rocket League updates with new content and gets a boost on Switch 2
More solid performance and improved effects
Psyonix has released update version 2.64 for its Rocket League. The content, already available for download, introduces new quality of life features and vehicles inspired by South Park to the free-to-play car soccer game (here you can find all the details). However, the most interesting news concerns owners of the title on Nintendo's latest console, as it has been optimized to make the most of the new hardware's power.
The Quality and Performance mode selector is gone, simply because the system doesn't need it to offer both worlds. Rocket League on Switch 2 now runs at 1080p and 60fps in both docked and handheld modes, plus the addition of more detailed effects, filters, and textures. Not exactly a "Switch 2 Edition", but fans will surely appreciate the boost. What do you think?
