Gears of War: E-Day will tell us about the day the world discovered the threat of the Locust, seen through the eyes of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago. This new chapter in the third-person shooter series is in development at Canadian studio The Coalition, which is building it with a brand-new technical framework, in Unreal Engine 5 and DirectX 12. We got a taste of it last month.

Gears of War: E-Day x Nvidia

Microsoft has partnered with Nvidia to ensure E-Day can benefit from the latest graphics technologies. On PC, The Coalition's work will boast a first-rate visual impact thanks to the implementation of Ray Tracing and Nvidia RTX optimizations, which will improve lighting and environmental details. The game will leverage DLSS 4.5, with features such as Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex, ensuring top performance.
