Resident Evil Requiem Unstoppable: 6 Million Copies Sold
Meanwhile, Capcom plans celebrations for the series' anniversary

We return to talk about Resident Evil Requiem, because Capcom has some news to share about it. The game itself represents the new benchmark for the survival horror genre, and if you still don't know why, we explain it thoroughly in our review. If you already know Requiem and were captivated by it, then you'll be pleased to know that an expansion is in the works.
Resident Evil Requiem Sales
Resident Evil Requiem had a huge launch, with over 5 million copies in just 6 days, but its momentum hasn't stopped. With an official statement, Capcom reports that as of today, March 16, another million has been added: in total, sales have now exceeded 6 million copies. This makes it the fastest title to reach this milestone among all games in the Resident Evil franchise.

Anniversary Celebrations
On March 22, 1996, the first Resident Evil was released in Japan. Capcom intends to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the nightmare's beginning with various initiatives, starting with a collaboration between Requiem and Universal Studios Japan. But for us Italian users, the series of orchestral concerts to be held in Japan, the United States, and Europe (hopefully also in Italy) is certainly more interesting.
