Resident Evil Requiem Confirmed: Leon is Playable!

After showing us Pragmata, Capcom returns to the spotlight at The Game Awards 2025 to share news on one of next year's most anticipated titles: Resident Evil Requiem. The new trailer first shows us the protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, and then reveals the welcome return of an old acquaintance from the series: Leon Kennedy. Among the main characters of the franchise, it is confirmed that Leon will be playable.

Unfortunately, we can't call it a real surprise, given that Leon's presence in Requiem had been anticipated by some rumors. If you too are eagerly awaiting Capcom's new survival horror, Requiem is set for February 27, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
