Raiden Fighters Remix Collection, Western Release Confirmed for Shmup Collection

Good news for fans of '90s scrolling shooters. Yesterday, we reported the Japanese release date for the Raiden Fighters Remix Collection, stating that there were no confirmations yet for Europe. Well, today MOSS and H2 Interactive have confirmed the debut of the shmup collection for us as well. The three Raiden Fighters will arrive on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and 5 on February 26, 2026, the same day as the release in its home country.

The titles in this Remix Collection, namely Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive, and Raiden Fighters Jet, will feature new options and quality-of-life improvements for beginners, the ability to play the original and international versions, and a rearranged soundtrack by Soshi Hosoi (Deathsmiles, Aero Fighters, Raiden IV x MIKADO REMIX...), Yuki Arai (Deep One: Zero TO Mugen no Fragment, Maitetsu Last Run!!...) and Kazushi Tsurukubo (Raiden III x MIKADO MANIACS, Raiden IV x MIKADO REMIX...).

They will also be available for separate purchase on the eShop and PlayStation Network, or in a bundle, complete with Standard and Limited physical editions. Unfortunately, a PC version does not seem to be planned. We hope they reconsider. Here's the announcement trailer.
